Design a business model. Fast cash-flow or organic growth?
Hello, my friends!
Today I want to share with you something personal…
Recently I achieved a milestone in my new hobby - running 🏃, which I started 1.5 years ago.
I have run a half-marathon, 21 km. And it took me 1h 45min! 🎉 😎
The thing is that I never ran and I didn’t know if I would like it, so I didn’t put any goals, just tried from small, and as I enjoyed the process I put it in reps, and found a fellow friend who would run with me every week.
Did something change after the race? - No.
Just a few photos with the medal and now my daughter has it as a new toy.
Could I achieve better and faster results? - Yes.
If I had set the goal of running a half-marathon I’d have started properly from the beginning, hired a personal trainer, and made it in less than 1 year.
But I’m not sure if I’d have continued after, or maybe I’d like to run a marathon and continue working harder towards a goal.
Why do I share it? - Because it works the same with business.
You can always choose a faster approach, make more money, find investors, operate with more people, and live the truish “StartUp life”. Or you can go lean, don’t look at other marathon runners who run longer distances and faster than you.
Let’s compare the “Lean business model” with the opposite “Blitzcaling business model”:
To be honest, I like both, and hopefully, I’ll be able to test both and share insights with you, my friends!
If you are interested in the lean business model and organic growth I recommend following and learning from this guy:
Today, my little one-person business crossed $5M in revenue.
That was my big goal when I started on August 1st, 2019.
It took 1,548 days, I ran zero ads & operate at a 92% margin.
Here are the 20 steps of my wild & strange journey:
Hope they are helpful to someone ↓

If you’re seeking big business and fast growth this guy shares very interesting strategies that can be executed without big capital:
If I was trying to build a $1M+ per year cash-flow business in 2024, here’s a few areas I’d consider (and how I'd do it):
1. The wholesalification of SaaS (think Costco)
SaaS is about to see an explosion of new startups.

Whatever you choose, don’t forget to make time for good reading, for your loved ones, and for doing nothing.
That’s a wrap for today!
Soon we will go further and more specific to the lean strategies and hybrid approaches that become possible in 2024 thanks to AI and low-cost enterprise solutions. I can't wait for the next week to share it with you, my friends!
Catch you later,
A.
